PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT SOME INS. CARRIERS MAY NOT APPEAR IN THE LIST IF THEY ARE A TPA OR IF THEY HAVE NOT FORMED CUSTOM OR SELECT MPNs.
For example, Keenan and Associates uses B.C. Prudent Buyer. They do not appear in the list because they use the Blue Cross Prudent Buyer HCO as their MPN and do not have an MPN of their own.
ALL OR MOST OF OUR PROVIDERES ARE PART OF THE MAJOR MPNs:
1. Blue Cross Prudent Buyer HCO.
2. CorVel Corporation
3. CompCare
4. First Health
5. Focus/Concentra
6. InterPlan
The self insured employers or large employers that have applied for their own Medical Provider Network are leasing / accessing larger MPN/HCO and creating what we now know as Select or "Custom" MPNs.
